SEGA is a manufacturer of video games and has been active in this industry since 1970. In the 1980s and 90s, SEGA released game consoles that began their triumphal march in almost every household worldwide. Megadrive, master system to name two systems with the games Sonic the Hedgehog and Alex Kidd.

More recently, SEGA has been using the third-party software and DRM system Denuvo for many published titles.
