Godfall Ultimate Edition Review
GodFall Ultimate Edition from Gearbox Publishing comes along with few old friends like Amazon, Google, Epic Games and mixed Crashlytics. The whole game was designed for online use. Also single game.
Privacy agreements or terms of use are non-existant. Consumers are kept in the dark about data sharing and product behavior.
Misleading product title
The product title is also misleading, because instead of an "Ultimate edition", we still have the Deluxe Edition on Steam (see entitlements), which is also listed in the source code

Sentry, UE Engine and crashlytics
Since the game is build with Unreal Engine from Epic Games, Inc. this product comes along with a standardized crashlytics function. This one is active in the background even if no crash has occurred.
The file responsible CrashReportClient.exe should therefore be deleted from installation folder BEFORE starting the game.
Sentry is a profit organization from USA who earn their money with real-time analytics and error tracking for web and mobile apps. Behind Sentry are several capital companies like Accel or New Enterprise Associates.
Sentry in this case is tied to the CrashReportClient.exe as well. The perfidious thing is that when the CrashReportClient.exe is deleted, sentry is still active.
