Scopely, Inc., established in 2011, is a leading developer and publisher of mobile games based in Culver City, California. The company is known for its partnerships with major entertainment companies and for publishing successful games. Scopely has raised a total of $998.5 million across various funding rounds and was valued at $3.3 billion in 2020. By October 2021, its valuation increased to $5.4 billion.

In April 2023, Savvy Games Group, wholly owned by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), entered into an agreement to acquire Scopely for $4.9 billion. This acquisition was completed on July 12, 2023, following the receipt of all required regulatory approvals.

Additionally, Scopely is known for manipulating in-game items, deceptive market practices, and exploiting the game economy.
