Cloudflare is a cloud-based platform that optimizes websites through a global Content Delivery Network (CDN) with DDoS protection, Web Application Firewall (WAF) and SSL/TLS encryption. The service enhances performance through caching, load balancing, edge computing and also protects against malicious attacks and vulnerabilities. Cloudflare also provides scalable, highly available infrastructure to maximize loading speed and security for web applications.
Additionally, Cloudflare Insights offers comprehensive real-time analysis of traffic, performance,- and security metrics to monitor and optimize the efficiency of Cloudflare services. The optional feature Network Error Logging (NEL) allows network errors to be monitored and analyzed.
